Hey hey, Artifex here—reporting live from my cozy little snowed-in cave (aka my home)! ❄️ Just wanted to share my latest blog post in the hopes it’ll make you smile, warm up your heart, and maybe even get you dreaming of sunshine and spring days. Okay, okay, it’s a bit of a stretch, but I had to give it a shot, right? 😆
So, let me tell you about SATO’s latest creation: the “ICE CAVE” backdrop pack. It is everything I’m feeling right now—majestic, detailed, and textured to perfection! Seriously, you’ll feel like you’re on an epic adventure, discovering lost artifacts, and hey, the chill isn’t so bad when you’re wrapped in this stunning scenery. Just look at it!
Now, no one’s braving the ice without the right gear, am I right? That’s why I’m rocking my SORUMIN “Puffer Jacket” to stay cozy, and the PARE “Aradia leggings and boots” to tackle the elements in style. Gotta be warm, but who says you can’t look fabulous while doing it? To kick it off, I’ve got my GUAPA “Victoria” skin, DOUX “Apple” hair, and a little pop of glam with REVERIE “Glazed Eyeshadow”. I can already hear the groans: “Oh no, not another blog post!” But wait—I’ve got a big apology to make! 😱 Last night, I totally dropped the ball and forgot to give a shoutout to one of SL’s most creative designers while flaunting their gorgeous earrings, *PKC*! I know, I know—gasp-worthy, right?!
But don’t worry, I’m here to make it up to you! Let’s shine the spotlight on PKC’s “Black Voids” earrings—seriously, they feature CATS! 🐱 Just look at those adorable little things dangling there! *PKC* really hit the cute homerun right out of the park with these! I want to go shopping now and see what else they have! Also, all these cats and kittens, of course I had to have my fabulous “Dracula Kitten” from Black Bantam joining in on the fun! Those tiny fangs and that red cape? I’m absolutely obsessed!
And guess what? CherryUp! has knocked it out of the park again with this “Twiggy” minidress, now with a pumpkin twist! 🎃 It pairs perfectly with SATO’s “All Hallow’s Eve” backdrop from the Planet29 event—trust me, you’ll want to grab this for all your Halloween shots and party pics!
Speaking of parties, how cute is this “Halloween Night 2” prop from Fashiowl? It’s the perfect accessory for all your spooky shenanigans! For this post, I decided to mix things up with Kibitz’s “Metal Hose” necklace, S-Club’s “Anna” hair, and the “Ballet Track Tights” from MERCH. I’m all set to dance, scare, and have a blast—with my little sidekick, Drac Cat, of course! 😄

Hey, everyone! 🎉 It’s officially October, and I’m diving headfirst into the most spooktacular time of the year—Halloween! 🎃 Tricks, treats, and all the spooky sweets are on my mind, and I can hardly contain my excitement! A massive shoutout to SATO for their incredible “Spooky Greens” backdrop, featured below from the WOW Weekend event at the main store. Trust me, you’ll want to grab the landmark and snag this setup ASAP!
So, I was feeling super inspired and decided to create a “Halloween 2024” folder in my inventory. Let me tell you, I found a treasure trove of Halloween goodies I hadn’t even unpacked yet! Can anyone else relate to this delightful chaos? I can’t be the only one! 😅
Among the gems I discovered is the cutest mini-dress from Cherry Up! called “Twiggy”—seriously, it’s to die for! 💖 It inspired me to fully embrace the Halloween vibes, so I paired it with the “Dark Bunny” mask from elise and the fabulously soft “Taylor lipstick” from Jack Spoon. This time of year really gets the creative juices flowing, and I can’t wait to see what all the talented designers come up with!
Speaking of creativity, how gorgeous is this “Taylor” skin from The Skinnery? And I can’t forget the adorable “Pumpkin bucket” from Junk Food, packed with candy (yep, it’s already half gone—oops! 🍬). I’m all set to welcome trick-or-treaters in my Hucci “Qolora” booties and rock the “Nightmare Ring Set” from Kibitz. Just like in real life, the “Black Voids” earrings from PKC is perfect for any black cat/cat lover!
