Hello gentle reader…Ooops wrong show! It has been awhile but I blog for other events AND I am a student in my second semester in medical school so please sheath the fangs and claws ! I have a blog post ready for you all! There’s something quietly enchanting about SATO’s Whispering Wishes backdrop—like stepping into the tender hush between dusk and dawn. The air feels thick with stories yet to be told, every shadow stretching toward some forgotten dream. This backdrop, now showing at the Blue Event, wraps the scene in a velvet mood—soft, melancholic, and shimmering just enough to remind you that magic never fully fades, it only changes shape.

Then there’s AZOURY’s Ferquessa. Oh, Ferquessa—it’s not just an accessory, it’s a declaration. Its sculptural lines bend the light in unpredictable ways, catching the same moody glow that drifts across SATO’s world. What I adore most is how it pairs effortlessly with ROWNE’s “Ihan” low pants in Olive and the “Yace” puffer coat in Onyx. The contrast is delicious: earth and shadow, structure and flow. The following story uses the last offering from SATO “Mistic Dream” available at THE BLACK FAIR from Sept 14th – 28th and this is just one pack out of several so make sure you run and get yours while you can! I am using a storyline-esque path to show some various products that will be listed below. I just fell into a literary mood and had to use an outlet, thank you for indulging me!

In the grand castle, the princess stood by the window, her beautiful crown and earrings given to her by her father, the king, shining in the sunlight. She gazed out longingly, dreaming of the world beyond the castle walls. Suddenly, her eyes caught sight of a handsome, captivating visitor approaching up the walkway. A sense of wonder and enchantment filled her heart as she watched him draw closer, his eyes a mystical violet and his skin so pale but yet so smooth …She just knew he smelled of Bergamot and amber..Still, by the window, she waited..

The aftermath of the stranger’s visit lingers like a phantom shadow. Whether it was only last night or a lifetime ago, no one can tell—but the princess still hides her face behind a mask, her eyes glistening with a quiet, unending sorrow. She shows more skin now, as though her ideals remained but her choices unraveled, a living contradiction of what she once believed. The nameless stranger left more than a touch upon her body; he carved a mark into her mind, a wound invisible but unhealed..

A dark cloth drapes over her shoulders and neck, concealing the twin red marks—silent testimony to the night she can never escape. Even now, in the hush of empty halls, his voice coils around her thoughts, a soft command she cannot silence, no matter how she tries.

There’s a narrow alleyway tucked behind the main drag of a town that feels half-forgotten, half-dreamt—like it’s been passed down from a fevered whisper rather than mapped with any intention. It isn’t on Google Maps, of course. You find it by accident, if it wants to be found.

It’s lit with a crisscross of warm string lights, swaying slightly, as if the wind remembers old hymns no one dares sing anymore. The bricks are old, slick from the eternal dew of late summer, and the walls lean just a little closer together than they should—like they’re listening. Like they’re breathing. This is the vibe I get and I hope you do as well from SATO’s latest – Lovecraft Alleyway for WOW Weekend!

The smell is earthy and floral, like moss and lavender had a tryst in a broken pipe. There’s graffiti here, but it doesn’t look painted. It looks etched, burned in maybe—thin lines like veins or sigils, curling symbols that seem familiar if you stare too long. Thankfully, ROWNE has me covered with their “Chiu Baby sweater/ Cozy Maxi Skirt” set- Its worn, its fuzzy and looks just distressed enough that if I tried hard enough, I could pry Keziah Mason out of my soul for a spell.

Framed against this eerie softness is a woman who looks entirely too modern to belong in such an ancient-feeling place. She wears a cropped sweater the color of fog—soft, dream-inspired. Her long maxi skirt drapes like smoke, with subtle shimmer that catches the light in all the wrong places. Her wee pixie cut from ADDON+ frames sharp cheekbones and a stare that doesn’t just look through you—it sees what you try to hide.

Just…just remember the way the light glowed on her sweater, the glint of her earrings shaped like crescent knives, the faint smell of lilac and ozone—and the way the shadows beneath the string lights blinked. This alleyway doesn’t belong in a city. It belongs in thresholds- And yet, here it is, with Edison bulbs glowing warm and safe overhead, pretending nothing’s wrong.
