Hello lovecups!

Today, I found myself in a bit of a dark mood, but don’t worry—the Light always finds its way back to me! Dark themes are making waves in blogs and web design lately. We all know that colors can communicate so much—red screams passion and danger, blue feels warm and trustworthy, and green gives off that natural, healing vibe. But honestly? Black is my all-time fave. It’s versatile. It can be chic, bold, mysterious, or even powerful, depending on how you rock it.

I was totally inspired by SATO and their WOW WEEKEND offering, “Destroyed Hospital,” which I’m a bit late to share, but trust me—it’s absolutely incredible! I hope this pack sparks some creativity in you as it did for me. Cheers loves!

So, here’s the deal: Today, as my home braces for the oncoming polar vortex (yikes!), I found myself slipping into a bit of a dark mood. Not quite full-on depression, just one of those “cloudy, blah” days. Sound familiar? So, what do I do when I’m in this funk? I pour it all into my art and blog! But enough of the moody talk—let’s get to the fun stuff. What do YOU do to shake off the blahs?

Now, let me tell you about the backdrop that really helped me get my vibe back—it’s called “Goth Store Front” from SATO. It was the perfect match for my dark mood today. Unfortunately, it’s been discontinued, but if you hit up their main store, you might find it hiding on the discontinued wall. And if you do? Well, I can’t wait to see how you make it your own—SATO’s wall has been a huge source of inspiration for me, and I know it will be for you too!

Speaking of inspiration, I decided to add a little extra sass to my look today. Enter the MAY24 “Alegria Dress”—I mean, look at that fur trim and that sexy slit. Tempting, right? It’s giving me all the vibes! Paired with my VOGUEL “Rosie” skin, the “Layered Linda Shanelica” necklace from $RICH FATALE (seriously, it’s an eye magnet), and a little pop of “Ethereal” eyeshadow from LUCCI, I’m ready to take on the day.

Ever wonder how fashion became more than just clothes? Back in the day, it was a whole movement—an emblem of revolution, freedom, and unapologetic self-expression. Fast forward to now, and that boho spirit is still alive and thriving in today’s fashion scene. People are vibing with the relaxed, personal flair that hippie style represents. So, I thought I’d rock a little bit of that groovy energy, thanks to BLAINK and their killer “015” backdrop.

Big shoutout to FASHIONNATIC for crafting this jaw-dropping “Pearl” set. This set just gives a chilled, striking silhouette that screams retro cool. And who says denim on denim is a no-go? In the 70s, it was the boldest of statements, and now, it’s rocking the runway and even grocery store aisles. Whether you’re matching your washes or mixing it up, denim’s the ultimate power combo.

Hello lovecups!

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all staying cozy and feeling great today! I was hit with a little wave of nostalgia and just had to give a shoutout to SATO and their discontinued line. Trust me, you’ve got to swing by and check it out! There are some real treasures in there, and I’m sure they’ll spark all kinds of creative inspiration. Hello dear lovecups!

Today’s blog is super close to my heart, and I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. The ocean and the incredible creatures that call it home are something I can’t stop thinking about.
